"The Dallas ISD Board of Trustees today postponed a request by the administration to authorize a reduction in force. The board is expected to take up the issue again next Thursday. Dallas ISD may experience a budget shortfall at the end of the 2008-09 school year of as much as $84 million if action is not taken
