I realize this isn't a particularly active comm, but hopefully somebody will see this and vote. *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* ^.^

Name: Alaina
Any nicknames? Nope.

Zodiac sign: Pisces
Sex: F

When members are voting, would you like Extended Universe characters to be considered, or only characters who are prominent in the movies? Whatever's the most accurate, but I would like it to be either movies, X-Wing Series, or New Yedi Order. They're the ones I remember best.

How feel you, mmm? Fair. I'm just relaxing.
Out of curiousity, how did you find this community? LJ search.

Likes: Reading, Relaxing, Swimming, Laughing, Southern Rock, Animals, Drawing, Building/Creating Things, Writing
Dislikes: Incessant Noise, Insensitivity, Pigheadedness, Cruelty
Hobbies: Mainly I like reading, playing on the computer, swimming, and doing creative things: writing, acting, drawing, etc.
Got any special talents? I'm pretty good at creative things: drawing, building stuff, writing, etc. I'm also pretty smart and I like learning, so school work is pretty easy for me. Plus, since I'm quiet, I tend to listen to people well.
What are your strengths? I think I'm fairly strong emotionally and I like helping people out. I'm smart and good with kids, too. Supposedly I'm also nice, occasionally funny, quiet, and smart. (It's yet to be proven. ;D)
What are your weaknesses? I'm generally a very quiet person, so sometimes I don't say the things I should/want to say. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist and I tend to fret over personal decisions, even after they're made. I tend to lack motivation and can be pretty wishy washy. I can also be unsure of myself, even when I'm right.
Why did you pick your username? I was thirteen. T-T
What is your current occupation? I'm still in high school, but I'd like to be a scientist or something when I'm older (marine bioligist, chemist, astronomer, etc.). I'm also considering architecture, event planning, or some kind of business manager.

Favourite:
-Colour: I love red colour schemes because they're bright and warm. I also really like brown, too. It's rich and warm.
-Smell: I love that smell after a hard rain, once the humidity's dried up, it just smells so clean and crispy. Mmm.
-Animal: Domestically, I love dogs. They're loyal and fun to play with. Plus, they're so cute. In the wild though, otters are my favorite. They're playful, cute, and they seem to be a happy animal. Plus, they can live in water or on land and they stay in family holts. :)
-Food: Pizza
-Drink: Dr. Pepper
-Place: I love driving down an open road. It's really peaceful and relaxing. After that, I like empty bookstores. (I love that book smell.) And I like hanging out in my house. (It's private.)
-Music: Right now I'm really into Southern Rock, mainly because it sounds so awesome. I also listen to classic rock, alternative, and popish stuff, depending on my mood.

Least favourite:
-Colour: Puke green? It's ugly?
-Smell: BBQ sauce. It makes me naseous.
-Animal: Ants or spiders. Bleck. Creepy crawlies.
-Food: Scalloped potatoes. Double bleck. They make my mouth taste thick.
-Drink: Really thick or pulpy drinks?
-Place: Someplace hot and stuffy?
-Music: Rap. Ew.

Describe how you see yourself: I have no idea. I like being nice and polite, but I tend to get nervous around other people.
Describe how you think others see you (try to be as honest as you can!): Well, either people know how anxious I am around them, or they just think I'm quiet, smart, and kind of invisible?

Three favourite/personally important (non-Star Wars) books: I love Ender's Game, The Old Kingdom Trilogy, and Road of the Dead. They're all intense books, without being overly dramatic.
Three favourite/personally important (non-Star Wars) movies: I adore The Departed, The Invisible, and Ghost Rider. The first two are intense and Ghost Rider was just SO cheesy! It's love.
Three fictional characters you identify with: I'm not sure. My life is pretty mellow for a fictional character. :) I'm pretty quiet and shy, so I don't really have a lot that are really like me. I suppose I can kind of see Bella from Twilight. The shyness and tendancy to think poorly of myself kind of fit, but the whole totally obsessed about a guy thing is way out of character for me. I suppose I can also kind of relate with Rory in the early seasons of Gilmore Girls, though I'm not nearly as girly or naive. I guess my third choice would be Remus Lupin from Harry Potter. I can relate to the caring about somebody and having a health problem. (I've got really bad migraines.) But still, none of the characters are exact matches.

Introvert or extrovert? Introvert I tend to internalize my problems.
Optimist or pessimist? Optimistic. I try not to form conclusions before something is done, but I tend to be an upbeat person.
Realist or idealist? Both. I like to believe in people, but I do what's out there.
Silly or serious? I like to be silly, but I'm serious when it's necessary.
Patient or impatient? I'm patient as long as I don't know when something is comming. However, if someone tells me we're leaving in five minutes, we'd better be leaving in five minutes.
Leader or follower? I'm a mixture of both. I could definetly be a leader, I think, but I'd prefer not to be. I'm somewhat insecure so I don't like being above other people. To me it's better to have friends than subordinates. I could be a follower, but only if the person I was following was someone I believed in and loved. Otherwise, I might strike out on my own.
Jedi, Sith, or something else? I'd want to be a fighter pilot. Jedi would be alright, but it also would be hard. Not only are they really into the self sacrifice thing (which I could do, but I wouldn't want it to be my life) and I hate having control over other people. It makes them less trusting.

Are you religious? If so, what religion? If not, why not? I'm a religios Catholic. I go to church on Sunday and I believe in God, but I don't shove it down peoples throats or anthing.
Are you more attached to ideas, things, or people? Probably people. Ideas are great, but once you find out who's idea it is or the whole idea, you're likely to be disappointed. Things are nice, but I'm to afraid of losing them. People though, are one of a kind.
Even if you're not attached to things, tell us a few of your favourites (some might say "essentials"): Books and a computer probably. I don't know how long I'd last without something to do. I also love my stuffed animal Sheepdog.
Ever been in any kind of physical fight? Not really. Besides a few claw fights with my sister when I was little, I've stayed out of trouble.
How would you describe your personal philosophy? "Que sera, sera." I try not to fret about things and just enjoy life.
Are you good with money? Definetly. I do spend outrageous amounts of money on books, but I can budget and stuff.
Do you speak any languages besides English? If so, which ones? Nope. T-T
What are your favourite shoes like? Just plain tennies. As long as they're comfortable and I can walk in them, I'm happy.
What would your IDEAL shoes be like? Comfortable and cute.
If you were an instrument, what instrument would you be? I have no idea. (Weirdish question. ;D) Maybe a piano? I'm fairly polite and refined?
What kind of accent to do you have? I'm from the American midwest, so I really don't have one. (I sound like most national news broadcasters.)
For whatever reason, what is your favourite word? Onomatopoeia. I like how sounds, but I'm not sure if it's my favorite word ever.
How do you react to stress? Under ideal circumstances, how do you DE-stress? If it's personal I tend to freak out. However, if I'm not the only one panicing, I usually calm down and take control. Destressing wise, I like to take a few deep breaths, leave whatever's bugging me, and close my eyes.
What is your favourite flavour of Swedish fish? ???? Swedish fish?
What is your birth order? (oldest, only child, &c.) Oldest child.
What is your favourite Star Wars movie? Episode IV, probably.
Which do you think is the BEST Star Wars movie? Again, I really like IV, but VI could also be the best.
What do you want your tombstone to say? I don't know. Probably something about me loving life and being loved? It's honestly not something I've put a lot of thought into. ^.^;
How political are you? Why or why not? Currently politics are really annoying me. If I was a politition I think I could make a difference, but right not most polititions are just playing the blame game. Politics wise, I'm somewhat conservative. I'm pro-life, conserned about Iraq, and unsure about illegal migration.
What is your outlook on romantic relationships? If I find the right guy...
Are you athletic, or do you enjoy sports? Got a favourite? I like swimming and I used to play soccer, but I'm not in great shape right now. (I'm working on it.) I don't like watching sports, I'd rather be playing them. (Except ice skating. That is awesome to watch.)
What is your favourite commercial, either television or print? The altell commercials are funny?
If you could live in/travel to any place, where would it be? I'd love to travel Europe or visit New Zeland.
What climates do you like? Sunny, but in the high 70s.
When stuck in a traffic jam, how do you react? I'm pretty relaxed. I just listen to music and chill.

Post at least one and no more than six clear photos of yourself (optional, but encouraged): No pictures, sorry. I'm 5'6" and slimish. I've got super, super short brown hair and purple glasses. My eyes are brown, I've got freckles, and I have super pale skin. Usually I'm dressed pretty casually (jeans, t-shirts, etc.) but I love high fashion stuff. (Military jackets, victorian clothing, etc.)
