What's Zen?

Zen is a philosophy some follow in order to achieve enlightenment. I found a book of koans and proverbs that just felt right to me and I feel perhaps the wisdom inherent could benefit others as well.

Sounds neat. Think you could teach me a thing or two about it?

I could use some inner peace right now.

I most certainly could, if you like.

I think it's something we all need.

She should so sign up Alexi without him knowing bubble_ditz March 21 2009, 23:26:28 UTC
This sounds fun! &hearts The Etiquette class in particular. I know several people that would be great for! This is a wonderful idea Companion!!!

I'm not familiar with a Tea Ceremony, although I am a drinker of tea.

I'm hoping it proves fun as well. ♥ I'm glad you like it. Will I be seeing you in any classes, Bubbles?

Tea ceremony is simply a traditional way of presenting the tea and insuring a proper reception for enjoying the beverage.

Of course! Is it alright if I bring some friends along? I think West would enjoy an Etiquette lesson and maybe Alexi and I could try the tea ceremony!

That would be lovely. I'll come up with a schedule and let you know.

I'd heard of acupuncture before, but have never seen it performed.

Perhaps I should schedule a visit? Either way, the tea ceremony sounds quite nice as well.

Acupuncture can be quite therapeutic, so long as you have no ill will towards needles.

Perhaps you should. Many people seem interested in that.

I would mind learning yoga. I think we discussed that before... I could do with knowing relaxation techniques.

Once I am fully moved in at Serenity I'll make a schedule for classes. You are welcome to attend.

Interesting list! I'd want to try everything...except etiquette, because there's probably no hope for me there. A yoga class could be fun, but it doesn't matter to me if it's private or not. I'm pretty flexible with time, too.

You'd be surprised, I'm certain it's possible for anyone to learn etiquette. I will keep that in mind, and let you know once I get class schedules posted.
