[Princess and the Frog] Go Down Easy

I thought Dr. Facilier was an interesting villain but his motivation was really unspecific, especially since he was a foil to the princess with the most concrete goals. I guess it makes sense though. A charlatan is all flash and image, but no substance. much like my writing

Hoooly shit, that was an amazing read. I rather liked Dr. Facilier so this was perfect. ♥

Some corrections: "He would not tell them, but they knew in other ways" and "If he was just a fool, it’d be a different story."

I liked him too! Mostly because Keith David could read the phone book to me and I'd find it interesting, but I know he wasn't as prominent in his villainy as the others. His conflict with Tianna was mostly an accident. But yaaaaaay I'm glad you liked it.

And thank you for the corrections! The first one was intentional, but the second was just obviously me blanking out while I tried to find a medium between Louisianan phrasing without being slangy.

Everything is better when heard in Keith David's voice.

Your writing always has substance and this was a good little background piece that gives the villain more concrete motivation.

I saw the movie and I think it's one of the first Disney movies where I felt kind of bleh after seeing it. I don't know what was missing but it definitely wasn't there.

Thank you! I was going for just a nudge since his motivation was there...just, not as defined.

I liked it overall but I felt a lot of the pacing, especially the end was kind of an extended denoument. I loved Tiana and Charlotte's friendship. And Naveen was hilarious but there was something missing in the tension of the overall plot. But it does give me hope that Disney's "The Snow Queen" could possible be awesome, which is the movie I've wanted to see since I was a little girl.
