I blame you anyway, because I kept wanting to write something where they arrive at an understanding with dialogue and then I realized, no, Zuko would screw that up. Let's go with the way he got turtleducks to like him: sat there being persistently "look attention :D" until they just accepted it.

I think the realization snuck up on me similarly to how it snuck up on Azula. I was taken by surprise by how much that ending hit. This was sweet and sad and ;sfjkldfsj;alk awesome.
