so spacelabs has finally let me know they will not be keeping me as a part time employee. this means i need a job starting in september. i can not really afford school without some kind of part time job, or it's living in the car for me

Since you're trying to go to nursing school, I'd suggest taking a day and going around to all the major hospitals in the area: Swedish/all campuses, Virginia Mason, Overlake, Childrens, Evergreen. Stop by the HR departments and see what they have to offer.

With the nationwide nursing shortage, if you tell them that you're a nursing student, they may find you a job in the hope that you'll stay after graduation. At best, you could even get some on the job training that would help for nursing (blood draws, etc.).
