Hi! I live in Yokosuka as my husband is stationed onboard the GW, too! I just got here in December so I'm still kind of new... and despite the fact that I just declared to myself that I WON'T BE LONELY >O I think that's kind of a lie.
Uh.
Basically, y'all seem like cool people and maybe we could be acquaintances, if not friends? :D
LOL, no way! We live in Niban, too (third floor). And the other guy in this post lives up on the 8th floor.
I haven't been here for very long either --since late November. Love it, tho. Not looking forward to the ship leaving soon. D:
What does your husband do? Maybe they already know each other? My guy is in the AIMD area, AT in shop 4.
But yeah, yeah. We should meet up. My husband is on Leave for a few more days so we're out and about right now (although, today looks like crap weather!) but after that is cool. :D
I live in 2-23! So I'm like... right below you, LOL. How coincidental~!
I know, ugh, summer is going to be hard!! Even though we got married last February, my husband and I are just now getting to live together so I'm going to miss him all the more for that... even if I was once used to being apart!
He's in engineering, though he's an SK. So I'm guessing they probably do not! :(
It's CRAP outside, for real. Poooouring. But yeah! :D Also as a side note, I'm glad you mentioned Denny's because it made me look up where that one is located, heh!
Small world~ Ha ha. Did you guys come from Hampton Roads, too?
Yeah, they probably don't know each other. Eh. It's going to be a long, long summer. I'm trying to get used to the trains and such so I can get around on my own. Had no problem in the States being by myself but... it's a little different here, ha ha.
The weather is awful. Ugh. We're 'spose to take off and roam the city tonight. I hope it clears up. D:
Denny's was good. It's a bit of a hike if you walk, but the drive is easy since they have a parking garage. Sukiya which is down a little further is even better. They've got beef bowl, curry rice and so on and it's really, really cheap! You should check that out one day.
