"OOHHHHH GOOD FOR YOU!"gaiafayeFebruary 5 2009, 02:49:48 UTC
"And how was it? I hope it was fucking good because it's useless now, isn't it!!!"
I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because I know he had a full schedule at the time, but Jesus. So many people are like, "Well, the DP shouldn't have been doing that!" Okay, yeah, I can understand being pissed off, and even yelling, but when it goes on and on at 600 fucks an hour and suddenly escalates to threats of bodily harm, and it even sounds like a bunch of people rush over to him? Um, no, that's not an equivalent reaction.
Plus the irony of accusing someone of lacking professionalism when you're throwing a fit.
The only thing more annoying than the people saying the DP deserved it is the people saying that this totally proves those unsubstantiated allegations that Bale hit his mom and sister even though the allegations were downgraded to verbal abuse and the authorities dropped it.
I can't take credit for the pic; I went right to the back-up for ontd when I got home and it was one of the many lulzy macros.

Well, I guess I can forgive for the not totally creating the pic part. Still laughed. Which is always good.
Yeah, you got to be careful on those allegation things. I'd like to think that despite being a class-A jerkwad, Bale would have some decency to not hit his family. And I'm thinking -- from the way this tape played -- it was probably more of a case of him talking incredible trash to his folks than full-on beating anyone.
The DP made a mistake. Bale made a mistake. It's a damn shame that these people ("professionals") goof up this badly and, in turn, became a mockery for it. But maybe it'll be a good thing. Make Bale watch himself more carefully. One hopes. You know.
Where is this 'Bale-Out' you speak of, BTW. I want a recording. People keep talking on it.

I agree that it just seems like two behavioral errors that collided and exploded into a big mess (albeit an entertaining one). I hate that people seem to think you have to either shun or excuse Bale for it. I'm sure if he has a real ongoing problem, he'll be under such a microscope from now on that we'll hear about it. e_e
Regardless, I'm still looking forward to seeing him blow up evil robots for the freedom of humanity.

Much as I respect Bale as an actor, as a person I'm beginning to suspect he's a class-A dick. Which makes me sad.
I mean, yeah, maybe you're cranky (because WE ALL get cranky, but that's just irritating ranting on for as long as kingdom comes. Srsly.)
In other news, the pic you presented made my morning, and I lulzed hard.
