That was extreme - never heard about it happening repeatedly! You should definitely try getting some proper sleep..., though to be true most of this happens to me when I'm not all that tired and decide it's fun to sleep for 8 hours... And I've never heard or felt anything remotely strange, if I did, my flatmates would be woken up at ungodly hours by my screaming.

Well... I really don't want to be merciless... oh no... but, here is a quote by you on this subject:

"I always thought it would be pretty exciting to have something even just pseudoparanormal happen to me, but at the same time I'm relieved that nothing has."

So, what can I say ... welcome to the club? (er well, hopefully not, because after some time it's more than annoying).

Oh, my God. I wouldn't want to sleep either. :(

I'm sorry, I hope you figure it out and it never happens again.

I'll be cool. :) I just need more sleep! Too much late-night internet lately.

I've found that 90% of my time is spent on the computer now. But, yes, you get more sleep!

Are you sure you weren't dreaming? Hearing your sister downstairs at such unlikely hours of th early morning sort of points to that.

Either way, that's really scary. @_@

Well, it wasn't a dream, but I don't think it was real. I think it was just my brain screwing around with me as a reward for letting it rest only 5 or so hours almost every night the last two weeks. >_>

I really was paranoid that I'd seize up and fly down the stairs when I decided to check if anyone was awake. The idea makes me laugh now, at least. XD

I'm just grateful I didn't get the common sensation of something sitting on my chest. Though the imagined feeling of my cat jumping on my bed followed by the realization that my cat wasn't there at all came pretty close.

x_x I'm so happy I didn't feel anything pushing down on me. At that point, all my rational thought would've been gone in a flash.
