Okay, that was wonderfully evil and creepy. I particularly liked Rodney's devotion to his Princess, and how conflicted he was when he found John. The ending is perfect horror.
I like Wrong Side of The Tracks, I think it's quite suitable.
It's funny--I watched The Grifters the other day, and it begins with a quote from Lady & The Tramp--how interesting that movie should spark to vastly dissimlar, yet compelling stories of violence and horror.
Mmmm. The Grifters. John Cusak, Anjelica Huston, Annette Bening, Harvey Keitel... wonderfully violent, disturbing and stark film about a small time conman, and the trouble he has with his mother and girlfriend--who are also both grifters. It's not for everyone, and I still have to watch certain scenes from behind my hand, but it's very compelling.
Well that was certainly... very, very interesting. This fic had this ominous feel about it, especially Weir and the very last sentence. Hmm... human needing to be governed, interesting thought. Well, who knows, maybe the Wraith can stop Global Warming. LOL.
Hahahaha! I'm sure the Wraith would stop Global Warming. One of the things that I always think about with SGA is predation cycles and how they keep both from overpopulating too much (even if there is some die-off, because equilibrium is delayed reaction). Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.
This was a wonderful surprise! I totally didn't think it could be done, but once I started reading, I couldn't stop. The way you molded both worlds is just breathtaking and perfect. It was funny and creepy, and vaguely touching in a detached sort of way. I love the casting of each of the characters, they made so much sense.
Honestly, I'm a little overwhelmed, and it takes a lot to do that to me in a fic. This is definitely going in my memories. Thank you for writing it!
Thanks so much for the kind review! I'm so glad you liked it! I like your icon, btw. I contemplated putting an image from Lady and the Tramp at the beginning of this, but decided against it.
I thought the icon would be appropriate. I just wanted to duck back in and tell you that days later, I'm still thinking about this fic. Several scenes just stick in my head and pop up randomly. I really can't gush about this fic enough.

wow.
gods.
*cough*
no, I don't give coherent feedback. I think the current title fits wonderfully, and better than the others availble, for what that's worth...
