FIC: Over Vales and Hills with Image!

Okay, so I was lazying around, procrastinating, as usual, and playing with Photoshop (yes, despite complete lack of desire to make icons or fanart or anything of the sort, I'm actually quite proficient with the program) and I made this little ficlet, with cover. I really wish someone who likes that sort of thing would made art for some of my fics

This is so cool; seriously, it's always nice to see some actually alien aliens. If that makes sense. Also, I love Rodney's thought about it being a plot that all flowers have but just aren't fast enough to carry out. I'm so glad I don't have any plants in my room...

This was very disturbing and creepy and completely surreal. I found it strangely compelling, and the image of Ronon and Teyla as the world's first gardeners was lovely - I liked that sort of ominous, archetypal image, and it seemed to fit. Also, John's last line sort of sums up the horror of the situation - there isn't always an answer or something to understand. Sometimes things just are the way they are - strange and wrong and bizarre.

Nicely done.

Thanks for the great FB! I'm glad you found the ending image ominous, which was really my itent - to make the actions of Rodney and the team as creepy as the daffodils themselves.
