I love that it was Alex that made him see how he really feels, well done. Also I like that there was no drama, it was just that their relationship had run it's course and now it was time to end it.

I hope in the show they end amicably because I really like Alex and I want to keep liking her, and I do not want her hating Danny or Mindy or anything messy like that. So fingers crossed!

I think for Danny/Mindy it IS going to take a third party saying "Duh you like him/her" for one to actually acknowledge it, that or something drastic like one gets into a serious serious relationship and the other is all bothered by it.

Still man I can not help but think of that tease Kaling gave on Twitter saying season finale someone admits feelings. The woman will favroute Danny/Mindy tweets from fans so she KNOWS it is what everyone wants but I am just scared it is going to end up being the midwife or something.

You're right, I think there has to be that outside push for something to happen, especially if they've known each other this long and nothing's happened between them.

And yeah, I KNOW, right? The thing with the finale comment is there was also that finale spoiler about a "long-awaited hookup" and a sex dream, and just... I don't know what to think. I kind of want them to hook up and then get freaked out and back off for a while. Idk.

I also agree with the other comment about us being able to still like Alex. They were adults about it and not dramatic, and that's refreshing.

I vote sequel! Curious how Danny would play this newfound realization with her.
