So I was going to get my old photos scanned by a local shop, but that didn't work out. Now I'm considering doing it through http://www.scancafe.com/ since I saw a deal today for $0.18/photoMy only issue is that I don't think I'd ever actually use the full $300 worth of scanning. Huh. If they did full 8.5x11 document scans for that price, I'd be sorely tempted, alas/fortunately.

I was actually planning on getting all my OU photos scanned in from negatives this summer. I might go in on that with you. Give me a bit to research the place.

Also if they have a commercial negative scanner, their results are probably going to be better than what you could get with a home scanner.

Well, I ran late on a dinner here and didn't get back in enough time to grab the deal.

In any case, I may test them out with a small sample of my less important pictures (60 or so). I'll let you know if they work out.
