OMgosh, we were on the same wwavelength. My story has Abby going on an interview at NCIS and meeting Gibbs in a coffee shop as well, and there's a shooting in mine LOL! eeerie ;)

OMG I loved it! I love superhero!Gibbs protecting Abby! I love how she knows what he is! I love that she knows he's injured and what that all means.

Their more...err...intimate connection? OMG sizzling!!! And then them meeting at NCIS afterward was just perfect!!!

I'm glad (and relieved!) you enjoyed it - the first two versions stalled midway but this one seemed to flow a lot better once it was going.

Oh, this is fabulous! I love superhero Gibbs! And the fact that they have this not-quite-explained-but-completely-perfect bond just makes it even better. I love that there was no big morning-after discussion, because it's very them to feel right about it all. *happy sigh*

Now, I'll just be joining the others in melting into a puddle of goo. :D
