There's going to be a change in the way the GAFicathon is going to run this year, mostly due to the amount of drop outs last year and the fact some people are still waiting for completed stories. Please read the estimated timeline and new rules/guidelines thoroughly before deciding if you want to get involved when sign-ups open.

Estimated timeline
Sign-ups: 31st December 2010 to 9th January 2011
Assignments distributed: On or before 1st February 2011
Stories due: On or before 1st April 2011
Stories posted: 15th April 2011 - 16th April 2011
Rules and Guidelines
1. All stories must contain the pairing Gibbs/Abby from NCIS.
2. All stories should be at least 1,500 words. There is no maxium.
3. All stories should be rated, spell-checked and beta read before posting.
4. All stories must be fully completed before posting.
5. All authors must contact me with the story title once your story is complete. This must be done before 1st April 2011. Those who do not do so will be replaced by back-up writers.
6. If you can't finish your story or will be late in doing so, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make allowances and/or, if necessary, arrange for someone else to step in.
7. Posts to the community will be moderated/screened until 15th April 2011. Moderated status will be removed at that time so that authors may post their stories for their recipients.
8. All requests must contain a valid email address.
As with last year, those who dropped out without getting in touch with me will not be allowed to take part this year. It might sound harsh but it's only fair on those who do sign up and complete their assignments. (Note: This doesn't apply to those who volunteered as back-up writers.)
