I absolutely adored this! The tension and emotion were so palpable. I think this is one of the best fics you've written (and that is saying a lot, since you've written some damn good ones).

I can only wish that something similar happens on the show. After the lack of Abby/Gabby this season, I think we deserve a little something. :D

I'm cautiously optimistic that while there won't be a boat-load of Gabby (no pun intended ;)) there'll be *something* of a Gibbs/Abby nature. I hope so, anyway!
