Hi everyone!

So I'm back with another dose of Felix fun. Thanks for the incredibly overwhelming response to last week's post. Hopefully we can generate as much fun this week!

So this time, to shake things up, I decided to give you guys a bit of a picspammy prompt:

I've always liked Gaeta and how AJ played him. But the first time I looked up and went 'WHOA' was the scene in Season Two's Resistence when he called Dee on the off-the-record calls. I loved everything about the scene. AJ completely nailed it tone, body language, facial expression.

Oh, that's a great moment!

You know, what I really liked about that scene was that it really encapsulated their relationship - how he was her superior officer, yet, they were intensely loyal friends who would do just about anything for each other, even if they didn't agree with everything the other was doing.

Yeah, you're right about the body language, the tone, everything. And to her credit, Kandyse really nailed it too. They totally made what could have been a throwaway expository scene really memorable.

Aww, Hand of God happy!Felix. That is really a great image of him. :-) We did not see those dimples enough, I tell you. :-)

One of my favorites is this scene. I have dozens of great images of Felix in my mind but this scene is filmed through a bathroom door! And even way back then we can get that Felix sees the irony (okay, hilarity) of the situation. Even young!Felix could be sardonic and I love that about him. :-)

It works best as an icon, though. This one is by geekbynight.

Hee! Sardonic!Felix is truly awesome. Of course, this is part of why he and Gaius so often devolve into arguments in my fic. Gaius is a bit um ...defensive, no? They can make for an explosive pair when Felix is feeling sardonic. ;)

The first image, I'm reminded of how he held his ground when his ideol wanted him to do something he knew wasn't right or legal for him to do. I like that about him, that he wouldn't let even respect for his mentor get in the way of his values, even then, when he was a lot more innocent. He knew the difference between right and wrong, and knew when to stick to his guns. It must have been hell for him on New Caprica as soon as Gaius started not caring anymore about doing things for the good of the people.

That second image, of him at the trial, that's so one of my favorite moments that I had him sign that exact image at Dragon*Con. I think it's a gamechanging moment for Felix's soul. :)

Also, how awesome is AJ that he can act through that tiny crack in the door? (I love the foot language in that scene, too. heeeee.)

OMG, yes. You know an actor's good when he can let his foot do the acting for him. :D

Heee. Gaeta/Baltar IS canon, or good as. I think I pretty much stopped writing them because I said what I wanted to say in YFL. They're almost always assumed to have been some sort of couple on NC in any story I write and in any universe- I'm trying to think if there's even one where that wasn't the case. I just don't ever see it ending well :) Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to write them again some day.

I'll always have a soft spot for Hoshi for that. He was so devoted to Felix. He almost was the fans' proxy. ;)

Pretty much :) And he was just so sweet and nice, from the little we saw. AND we can do pretty much anything you want with him. (I am amused at how much big bang action Hoshi's getting between this year and last year. I guess that's what you get for actually surviving the series, even if you only really get character development in the webisodes.)

Oh, I love the first one. I swear, he's holding his cigarette the way Baltar often held his, which would be extra ouchy somehow. I remember when I first saw this scene broadcast, I thought the hand in the closeup at first was Baltar's in fact.

The smoke trailing around that melancholy expression? *wibbles*

The Demetrius? Everything looked both better and worse on the Demetrius.
