'Little Black Dress' challenge
lls-mutant and I have noticed that there are almost no characters left on the show who haven't been paired with Gaeta in fic. Gaeta/Zarek, Gaeta/Roslin, Gaeta/Kat, Gaeta/Gaeta... you name it, it's been done. But, a few are still left. We want to challenge you to change that by writing Gaeta pairings that haven't been done yet. We're sure it can be done. We don't call him a little black dress for nothing!
The only pairings that haven't been done yet to our knowledge are these:
Gaeta/Barolay
Gaeta/Cavil
Gaeta/Connor
Gaeta/Cottle
Gaeta/Elosha
Gaeta/Figurski
Gaeta/Head!Six
Gaeta/Tory
Gaeta/Gina
Gaeta/Jake the Dog (heh)
Gaeta/Kelly
Gaeta/Laird
Gaeta/Romo Lampkin
Gaeta/Chuckles
Gaeta/Crashdown
Gaeta/Seelix
and Gaeta/Ellen Tigh
... plus, while Gaeta/Gaeta has been done in the Cylon/Cylon sense, there is a glaring lack of fic about Gaeta and his right (and also his left) hand. We find that especially puzzling.

So, we challenge you to remedy this by writing one (or more than one!) of these pairings! The Gaeta love must be spread all over Galactica after all (and all over New Caprica, and all over the colonies... and one day, he'll arrive on Earth, so he better be done with Galactica at that point...). After we're done, we could declare Gaeta to be the first character in the fandom to have been paired with literally everybody. That would be pretty cool. :D
There's no deadline, no limits, no specific rating, no nothing. Write whatever you want to write. It just has to involve one of the above pairings. If you want to write about Gaeta's torrid love affair with Galactica's algae chef, or such, feel free to do that too! Just make sure you post a link to your entry here, so we don't miss it if we should do a round-up at some point.
