I hadn't seen his work prior to this article in artNetNews and I always worry how I will respond to work done by those who have been very successful in other arenas. Wow, I had no idea he paints, and you can tell he really puts his heart and soul into what he creates. And look at those sculptures! I'm pretty amazed. Thanks for posting this. :)

You are more than welcome! I feel the same, that you can really tell that he's emotionally invested in what he's doing. At the same time, he really seems to be having fun finding his way in this discipline even if his first steps were takne because of a bad breakup. The silver lining, I guess :)

Very interesting short film. I saw it posted on Facebook at some point, but I lost it in the cascade of new posts. I am very glad to finally see it here. I like Jim Carrey a lot and he opens up about his real feelings a lot here. His art is very revealing too. And he's is quite good! Several pieces are very good. I think I like more the ones with the bright colors that he describes what he wants with.
