I'm so very sorry, bb, for your loss. Sucks that added on top of the emotional toll, you had to deal with stressful travel, as well.
*hugs*

I enjoyed this episode - pretty much have enjoyed every episode this season, so yay! I can't really brain right now, sorry - long friggin' week, and i'm just tired.
I did love Dean confessing and Sam being so damn understanding, though.....

Re: Agent Weller - I immediately thought of Peter Weller, the actor who played Robocop.

Thank you.

It's been a good season so far, hasn't it? I am even writing an original SPN fic (as in, non-tag/missing scene) and I honestly didn't think I'd ever be inspired to do that again.

Oh, duh. Peter Weller. Of course! I can't believe I forgot about him.

See you soon!

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your grandfather.

I do enjoy your rambles and appreciate your thoughts - I may not agree but they're always worth thinking about.

I didn't think the shattered knife was the demon killing knife (Ruby's knife.) That is a huge loss. And speaking of which - I've totally lost track of the Colt - anybody know who had it last?

If they've lost both of those -- why hasn't Crowley or any other demon taken them out? (OK, now that Lucifer is in play, and apparently doesn't want them dead yet, fine. But before?)

I propose "anti-witch ammo" or AWA for a name.

Yes, the rock-paper-scissors win was awesome - although I wonder what prompted his change in strategy - frankly, if it hadn't been deliberate for the last 20 years, you have to wonder about his .. well, IQ.

Thank you for posting.

I'm glad you enjoy the rambles -- and I'm glad that you find something worth thinking about even in the ones where you disagree. :)

Oh, it wasn't the Demon-Killing knife?? I don't know why I thought it was. Maybe it just looked like the same blade or something.

I like AWA. :)

I thought the same thing...after all these years losing by going with scissors, why change now? LOL!

Thanks for reading!

So sorry to hear your grandfather passed away. I am glad you got back home safely. It certainly is not a good time to travel with the weather lately.

This episode really worked for me. The rock, papers, scissors made me so happy I can't even say! Last week, I started thinking about Sam's reaction to Dean's getting targeted by the Banshee. I remembered that Sam wasn't stupid. He probably knew what happened, he was just leaving the door open for Dean to admit it. I wasn't 100% sure, so I wasn't totally surprised by his reaction. I was thrilled though that Dean confessed and Sam was so good about it! Those poor guys though. They don't even realize how screwed they are. Not only will they have to deal with Amara, but Lucifer is topside and wearing Castiel.

I am loving what they are giving us with Sam and Dean's relationship. All the little glimpses of what they are thinking and feeling. It is just like a warm hug type of season for me.

Oh, very good point.

I like that the boys have matured through all they've experienced and seem to have finally learned some of the lessons we've been hoping they'd learn for many seasons now.

See you soon!

I'm so sorry about your grandfather.

I really liked this episode! I loved that Dean finally confessed his feelings to Sam, I was taken by surprise at that because that is so unlike him but I was pleased. I also thought maybe I'd missed something when Sam was not surprised, I tried to remember if something had happened or someone had said something to him about Dean and Amara but I don't think they have.

I took it that Sam saying "I got it" meant that he would kill her - have no idea how he thinks he's going to do that! I think if he meant he knew what Dean was saying he'd have said "I get it"

Actually I think I would be happy if this storyline to continue into the next season, I'm liking the idea of Casifer and Amara being with us for longer than the next 10 episodes.

btw LOVE Dean in that red shirt <3

Really looking forward to next week's episode!!

Take care Gaelic.

xoxo

Thank you.

I agree that Dean looks amazing in that red shirt...but it seems that every time he wears it, something bad happens. In general, or to him. It's like a warning sign to me now. LOL!

'See' you soon!

Well, hi there! It's been a while! So pleased to know you're still reading. I get it about Real Life, though, believe me.

I wonder if the line about Dean always sacrificing himself is a touch of foreshadowing.

Hmmmmm. I've been wondering about that myself -- especially the turn of events with Swan Song possibility as it seems that there are many parallels between Dean & Amara and Sam & Lucifer. I could see them building up to that, but then you've got the whole Billie the Reaper threat looming where Dead Means Dead this time. Especially since they killed Death. Hmmmm....

Remember way back in S5E17, and the Wh*r* of Babylon could only be killed by a True Servant of Heaven.. And Dean killed her. I'm wondering if that tantalizing bit of history might be important.

I do remember that and I would LOVE if that history, the Righteous Man, all of that somehow came into play with how Amara is dealt with.

Thanks for coming by the chat! See you soon(ish).
