Stream of Consciousness, Epi 11.09

Dec 12, 2015 12:07

Why is it that every show with a mid-season finale decided that the best way to spend the holidays was to be left with someone (or many someones à *looks at The Walking Dead*) in mortal peril? That’s like…the opposite of peace on Earth, good will toward men.

The Ramble )

supernatural, ramble, episode review, what do you think?, stream of consciousness

I knew you'd get more out of it than me. But other than admiring Dean, i still didn't care for it. Rowena pisses me off,the angels were self righteous jerks that got what they deserved, the enemy of my enemy so and so forth...

And the fact that it was Lucifer and not God was just so freaking obvious to me. Although I will say Lucifer is a lot of fun.

He plays that role to the hilt, doesn't he? It should be wrong to enjoy watching him so much, but...well, there you go.

And I so enjoy admiring Dean.

Well, I could basically just sign my name under your ramble, so I won't have much to say this time.

The episode wasn't shocking by any means, but it was quite engaging, which I appreciated. And it managed to make me feel something I didn't expect to ever feel on this show - for a brief moment, I felt like the angels were powerful and dangerous again when the skies opened and the angels descended upon Amara. Angels without vessels are so much better and much more badass than angels wearing suits and saying things like "her beef is with God"!

Oh, and I'll dip into the shallow end of the pool to say that Dean really did look fantastic. Especially that shot of him in front of the church, when he senses Amara's presence for the first time. That made me very happy.

Thank you for your ramble! And for the virtual hug, which I heartily reciprocate!

I agree on the angel front -- when that light swirled in the sky and that blast of power came down an enveloped Amara, I was like, it's about time!

There is so much to enjoy about watching Dean. *happy sigh*

Thank you for the reciprocal hug!! :)

Happy Holidays! Thanks for taking the time to write and share your thoughts. I enjoy your Rambles and read each one.

I agree! Dean better not go "there" with Amara. Too creepy indeed.

I always love when Mark Pelligrino/Lucifer comes to play. I wasn't, however, thrilled with the idea of him offering Sam the vessel idea. My initial thought was, "Oh no, not again!!!". Reading your ramble has given me pause, tho. I'll hold off on that.

Dean and Amara is a really interesting story. Got no clue where they're going with that, but I'll be there to find out.

I totally missed the Limbo location. I couldn't figure out what they'd done with Michael and was very peeved about the omission. THAT would have been interesting.

Loved that Crowley and Rowena were just leaning on the 'railing' and watching Sam and Lucifer as if they were watching mice play.

Until next time. :)

Yeah, I missed that it was Limbo the first time I watched it, too. They said it when they're walking down a corridor and Rowena was like, "wait, this is it? I expected more."

I liked how they were basically spectators watching Sam and Lucifer, too. All that was missing was the popcorn. LOL!

I love reading your thoughts -- what a great way to break everything down.

Those people had no inherent value of their own, only in how they have served a purpose in helping Amara achieve her goals.

This.

Also, I didn't think about the prophet angle -- I wonder if the angels will reinstate the prophets to help out. Hmmm....

I'm ready to see where they go from here! :)
