"Show me a hero and I'll write you a tragedy." -- F. Scott Fitzgerald
Okay, people. Season freakin' 10. How many of us who were there day one, episode one, back in 2005, back when their license plate was KAZ2Y5 and Sam's hair didn't reach past his jaw line ever thought we'd get to Season 10? I sure didn't. I remember just hoping for Season 2. The

Personally, I lovelovelove a Dark Dean and am happy to revel in it in the sure fire knowledge that it won't last forever (or even very long, if past adventures are anything to go by) and we'll get back to an even more broken, but ultimately stronger & more resolute, Dean & Sam.
My thoughts on Soldier guy - Maybe a tortured victim of Dean's time in Hell? Otherwise, where has he been all these 'years' he talks about. I kinda like him - he's portrayed as moralistic and nicely capable. And fit!
Welcome back! So, so happy you are here & sharing your (unbelievably well thought out but so incredibly quickly delivered) rambles with us. Love ya!

I agree!
So happy to see you're commenting -- can't wait to see what next week brings us!

The show should just keep Cas at Sam's side and have them interact more while they're looking for Dean. It'd be better not to bring the angels back, until they actually impact on Sam and Dean's storyline, long as they don't do that, keep them offscreen and at most have Cas mention them once or twice, like they did in s6.
As for the angel speechifying, the only thing I wanted out of that was for Cas to tell Hannah to just let the guy be. The two of them weren't causing any trouble, so let them live their lives and the rest of the angels can stay the fuck in heaven and stop taking up screen time.

I couldn't agree more. Unless their storyline -- either via Cas or otherwise -- loops directly back to impact the boys, what's the point??
I would love to watch Cas and Sam search for Dean together, not Cas all sickly in his bed until another angel needs him. And honestly, I really thought Cas was going to tell Hannah to let the two rogue angels go. If they'd left before the whole campfire/star gazing thing, Daniel might have stood a chance.
Le sigh. Hopefully we'll get more clarity in the coming eps.

I saw the premiere and read your ramble straight away.
It actually made me watch closer and think, wait, does he actually maybe care about her? did that hurt when she denied him, saying he wasn't a good guy pretending to be bad? did I see a flinch in his eyes, or did I just want to see a flinch?
I also see a hint of old Dean there. Besides, he begin the talk inviting her to go with him to somewhere. That mean something, right? I know the fandom desire is that Deanmon don't end soon, but I miss Dean.
A pleasure read you again.
Greetings.
P.S. Is the Cale's son that kid from the "Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie"?

As for Cale's son...I'd have to actually look again. I didn't pay close enough attention to him; I was trying too hard to see what was on the fax. LOL!

It’s regarding the remark Crowley made about Dean turning completely demon if he doesn’t “feed” the Mark of Cain. That seemed backwards to me.
ME TOO! When Dean was human, killing and "feeding" the Mark made him more demonic-like. So, why now as a demon does it work opposite? Plus, Cain was able to have peace and emotion and all that even with the Mark...however, he did separate himself from the 1st Blade. So...hmm. I would like more information about that, for sure.
Can't wait to see what they have in store for us!!
