I'm lucky because I am in Australia and things are returning to normal out here. Being an isolated country with only a small population we are lucky. This has been an experience for us all. Keep safe.
I'm so glad you got your shots. I get my first one on Thursday. I stated my new job on March 18th 2020. That was the same day they closed all the vision centers across the country. So my first day of work was chaos and that continued for the next 4 months where I learned 5 other jobs and not my own. I hope we do have that drawer full of masks soon and all this is just something we can look back on not fondly but something we all survived.
I think the main thing is that we are adjusting. I've been teaching in ways I never thought I'd have to do. Living in ways that would have seemed bizarre in 2019.
And here we are!
The brother that we ate with that night has survived major heart surgery AND Covid in the past year. None of that was on the radar in March 2020. Oh, and shingles! This poor guy has did not have a great year.
Your 1st mask is very BK. But you know that - that's why you have it ;D. Take good care of yourself sweet Gael - finally, things are getting better every day!
