Yes! You are not alone. We are going through something similar here. Gram is 94 and her day revolves around food, tv and her chair. We are going through boxes and she is deciding who to give it to. Better alternative then going through it when she is gone. Take it one day at a time so it is less daunting.
I'm dealing with a Mom with Alzheimer's that we moved into assisted living. Now we're trying to sell her house. Plus I'm in the throws of tax season and working 7 days a week.
So if you feel down and blah, go with it. Denying it doesn't make it go away.
Just know your friends are here for you now and when you get back to your spunky self.
So many changes. Maybe too many, yeah? So glad Dave, and Chloe apparently, are taking care of you. Sorry about Nana. Sorry it seems to be taking soooo long for you to heal. But soon! Alyssa in Europe for a year. I did not know that. Amazing for her! Just don't over do, okay? Take care

Take it step by step, do what you can when you can. A good tale is worth the wait.

The same Spring Break that my surgeon told me I was supposed
get in bed and try to rest up from my teaching.
So I'm lifting and toting like a mule. No kidding.

You have an excellent blue eyed helper and a reminder that you are not alone. You have a journal of friends who love you.
