'...people are helping me, mainly Mr. Dave, who is my driver, nurse, carrier, and cheerleader.' Thank goodness you have him :)
I don't know about the Brian/ Justin fandom anymore. People still read you, I believe. Have you ever considered any other fandom? Isthere any other couple that interests you?
I wrote that Sherlock Holmes (Ritchie-verse) fic that was pretty well-received over there, but I've been a Holmes/Watson fan for a long time. But… it's not the same as writing about the Boys.
I did those Brian/Justin/Paulie crossovers, too -- not taken very well by most of the Beatle fans (not all -- a couple were very kind to me there).
I guess this whole recovery is just so exhausting. It's hard to think of starting anything new.
'I guess this whole recovery is just so exhausting. It's hard to think of starting anything new.' Giving yourself the time to recovery properly is so ncessary. But I can only imagine how exhausting, and frustrating, it all must be. I'm just so sorry this ended up being necessary. I feel I should know the answer to this, but have you done straight-up original fic?
Hi Gail --- Hope you feel better much sooner than later!!!
I want to thank you so much for all of your incredible years of fantastic writing, beautiful and angsty series...each of which remain permanently imbeded in QAF fan fiction classics of all time!!!
Get well soon and take care, can't wait for tje end of this wonderful series. 😊💜
Sorry to hear about your slow recovery. But it will come as you said, slowly but surely.
But what's this about the Brian/Justin audience not being your audience anymore? I don't agree with this, and don't understand why you'd think it either.
I'm still here, also old school, I guess, but I know exactly what you mean and should have been more forthcoming commenting. I am always sad to see "the regulars" go - but it must be more so for you, as you are even longer in the fandom.
Hope you feel better soon and take care to recover properly. Surgery is stressful and you should probably stay at home much longer, but I know what I am like with school - if I stay home I pay for it later, trying to catch up with teaching and grading and so on.
