Just to let you all know that I'm out of the hospital and
recuperating at home… very… slowly…

I had partial knee replacement, which is painful enough, but
I also have rehab, which pushes it all into the stratosphere
of ouch. It's also difficult to sit up at the computer, which
means I can't be on for very long.

Which means that the final chapters ( Read more... )

Rehab is it's own form of torture. So sorry you have to go through this. Hope your feeling very much better soon. Take your time and do it right.

You know it. I've never gone through this before and it's a shocker.

Keep taking those meds, Gael! Rehab is a bitch but keep your eye on the prize of being pain free! I'm on Dreamwidth, too (hardly ever posted there, though. For some reason my addled brain could never make sense of their formatting (and IJ, as well). I used to crosspost my fics to IJ but it got to be too much of a hassle so now I'm just on LJ and A03 (as kinfic2). I don't know what the latest meltdown is over LJ, but I'm sticking with it. It's been my home for 10 1/2 years and I don't like moving! Lots of luck w/the physical therapy, my dear!

I'm holding tight right now. We'll see what happens.

Tomorrow, another session of PT. Not looking forward to it.

Glad to see you are hanging in there. Hopefully the recovery will continue quickly.

I have Dreamwidth but can't remember my password. I never use it. Not really a fan. Unfortunately LJ is pretty quiet now and so many people talk on Facebook(yuck). I spend more time on Twitter but that's just cause my attention span is short. ;p

I know like two people on Dreamwidth, but it's nice to have an alternative
if needed.

Hi Gael - glad to hear you're post-op and have the energetic, keenly observant & ever-vigilant... uh... well, when she's awake... Nurse Chloe on the job. I hope rehab won't be too bad and helps you get back into action soon.

As for MoLJ, I thought lj was, at least originally, Russian or had some Russian connection. What seems to be the problem now? I wouldn't like to lose everything I have on lj. I have a Dreamwidth account (can't recall the password) but how does one mirror lj on it? Copy & paste an entire journal? As are you, I'm open to suggestions.

Keep hanging in there.

Nurse Chloe is enjoying recovery -- lots of time in the sack!

There's some way to transfer everything over there. I have the instructions, but
I think I'll sit on it for a while and see what develops.
