The LA house. Mmm. Who knows which was Gus would jump if Brian sold it. He probably doesn't know himself. He'd be torn, that's for sure. Just like Justin was when Brian was thinking about selling the loft. A place that's important to you, that's tied into the memories of important moments in your life ... you just don't walk away from those places.
And although Gus can be a total pain (nice to see him improving, by the way) the truth is he's lost an incredible amount in his young life. He's really lost three parents if you look at it from one perspective, and nearly lost a fourth. And the LA house is probably the only place that he felt was really his home, somewhere he felt secure.
I suspect that selling the place would go down better after he's settled somewhere in Pittsburgh. Somewhere that he feels like he's got a real home again.
