I suppose it would be out of line to kill a movie star, wouldn't it?

The funny thing is that I suspect that Jimmy's manipulations won't be as successful with this version of Brian as they would have been with the version he knew in Hollywood. Not sure why I think that. Maybe I'm just hoping.

But I would totally like to slap Gus around the head right now.

It's about time someone did.

He seriously needs to grow up pretty damned fast and stop being such a spoiled little rich boy.

I don't care if he's still missing Ron, I don't care if he's still feeling guilty about the accident. His father needs and deserves better from him than this Princeling Prat thing he's got going on.

And it's about time someone told him that in no uncertain terms.

I agree. There's only so much stuff you can excuse on the grounds that Gus is a teenager, that he's lost one of his dads ect. Gus has crossed that line in spades.

Gus is smart, stubborn, and entitled -- kind of like his father.

That makes for a confrontation bound to happen.

It's interesting that Brian recalls important things such as Hobbs and the bashing and how awful St. James Academy was.
One of the things that makes your work refreshing is the way you are writing Gus. So many writers make Gus this perfect child that is so sensitive, understanding and perfect. Sorry but in my opinion that would not be reality. I would think any child of Brian would have a strong sense of self, have strong opinions, and be independent, maybe even somewhat snarky. I like him written as a chip off the old block. Haha. I like the way Justin is handling Jimmy "No Brain" Hardy too.

With TBI people can often remember things in the past better than recent things
(that's one thing CowLip got right with Justin), but it gets better -- with cognitive
therapy, which Brian is getting.

First of all-very glad your back!

I always enjoy hearing from Cynthia and Ted, even when they're just quibbling over having to deliver the letter. The back and forth there made me think of siblings (no, you do it!) and I wouldn't want to deliver that letter either.

Liking Danny as he continues to not fall under Jimmy's spell. He may not be the brightest bulb but he seems steady and sticks to his healthy lifestyle choices not falling in line with Jimmy and his manipulation.

Also pleased that Ted is seeing thru Jimmy. While not a fan of Justin, jury seems to be out there, he is seeing Jimmy pretty clearly and is wary of him.

Jimmy's response to the Gus/Brian drama is truly creepy. He loves stirring things up and views others troubles as entertainment.

Loved this. Hope you are recovering and very glad you're back

Thank you,
Lemon

I always like Ted's POV because he sees things clearly.

Very clearly, when it comes to certain things.

Although I seem to repeat myself...I would like to renew my extreme dislike for Jimmy. He is not a nice man and Brian seemed to respond negatively when Jimmy showed up. Deep down he must know Jimmy is bad news. I would love for Gus to hear the story of Justin's St.James experience so he can at least understand Brian's reaction to his attending the school. Again I know I am redundant but I really believe Gus needs to hear about Brian and Justin before Ron. Lovely update! I hate Jimmy. 😀

True that, about Jimmy not being nice. But his appearance was a surprise. Makes you wonder who else will show up from Q.T. world.
