I know, but I think it's realistic.

People forget that Emmett had a dark side. He could be mean (to Ted,
about Justin after he was bashed, even to Michael) and he had a cold
side underneath all his chitchat.

But stay tuned.

Thanks for the update, this makes me hopeful that maybe Michael will open up to Gus about Brian/Justin in the first 5 years. It seems like as soon as Justin moved everyone wrote him off. Still seems hypocritical of Deb in particular that she "turned" on Justin and re-wrote history. But if she hadn't we wouldn't have this great story. Seriously, I hope Mikey can provide some information that might help Gus understand Justin and be somewhat more supportive of him as he helps Brian heal. Yes I know I'm a sap.

Michael is the one who can tell Gus about what Brian
was like when he was Gus's age.

Re Debbie -- she's the biggest rewriter of history on the
show. And she's always been able to turn on a dime when
it came to Brian.

I wouldn't be too hard on Deb or the rest of the gang. Justin's going off to New York probably seemed like a desertion of Brian to his friends.

It certainly looked that way to Michael.

But Michael and Justin are repairing their relationship. They need
to if they want to help Brian.

Emmett is hateful! Michael said it all. When his new rich so called friends turn on him he will most likely come around with his tail between his legs. He seems so ungrateful after the times that Brian was there for him.
I'm thinking that Michael may be the one to eventually get through to Gus about Justin.

Em has a new shiny life. But we know the A-Gays can't be
depended on (see Ted). Emmett is bitter about a lot of
things.

I was and still am enjoying the spiteful Emmett in this fic. But Michael's snotty treatment of him, even though justified, is making me fell sorry for Emmett.

They are both pissed at each other.

I feel sorry for Em, too. He's isolated and he put
himself in that position.
