Michael and Justin working together for Brian's recovery is a good thing and hopefully a successful plan but Gus is going to be a ongoing thorn I reckon
Thorn is the perfect word describing Gus! At least Justin understands why. I'm glad Brian told him to go to bed! This certainly IS going to take a long time to resolve itself.
Sending Gus away would only make hm resent Justin more. As Brian gains more of his personality he will be able to deal more effctively with Gus, The teen isn't likely to listen to anyone else. Family councilng might help, but neither Brian nor Justin have been partculary successful in formal therapy.
Well, actually, Brian wasn't really dealing that effectively with Gus before the accident. Rewarding him for running off from Lindsay, letting Gus speak ill of others without much reprimand, ect. Gus needs some real parenting of the tough love variety, something he's not going to get from any of this lot.
It's true that neither Brian nor Justin have done well in formal therapy. But then, they're resistance to it was so great, how could anything have been accomplished?
