Don't know Jimmy Hardy so searched and found a video. In it, he looked like Nick Nolte to me.

Having just reread the whole Queer Theories saga recently, it's fresh in my mind--all Jimmy Hardy's antics as he pursued Brian, wrecking his marriage and teetering on disaster with his career. I'll have to check out Letterman and Tom Hank's recent visit to compare.
