I think the person that said people in the U.S. spoil their children too much is right. One might understand why Gus might want to run off with Lindsay and Mavis. But it was a foolhardy stunt that he was not given any real punishment for. Instead he was rewarded for it by not having to go back to Canada. From this Gus has learned that running off gets you what you want, so of course he'll do it again.

Loved the run up to the accident, the drama queen and princess moments--and Gus trying to escape driving a stick shift. Not to crazy about the accident, but I can see that it would definitely be a wake-up call for one stubborn young man. Hoping Brian isn't badly injured here. Thank you, Lemon
Why are Michael and Deb the only ones called out for talking to Gus about Justin? And the stuff that they told Gus was true, not bullshit. Gus simply hasn't heard enough about the good qualities of Justin.
