Brian is so grief stricken, angry and lost in his own skin. I can't say I blame him. This chapter makes me sad, but that is good, right?
The talk with Gus was really good. The fact that Gus is straight won't be that big of deal in reality, I would think. After all, what child wants to think about their parents having sex and what parent really wants details of their children's sex lives, other than they are safe, protected and happy otherwise TMI. Basic needs for sex are basic needs gay or straight, everyone has their own libido, kinks and likes/dislikes. It is enough that they love each other and I think Gus knows that Brian does. As far as relating to women - Brian doesn't relate sexually but he doesn't seem to have a problem with women socially.
Haha, I kept holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop, you know, the one with the blond head attached to some part of it's body. Lol. Guess it's too soon for "the meeting."
Ah Michael. In some ways he seems to have matured so, but in other ways... I mean Brian's partner of 10 (+?) years just died. Give the guy some time to resume his "active sex life," or Michael's idea of what that should be. Maybe he's not even that guy any more. Maybe his "active sex life" won't take that shape or form now, 10 years later and with a teenaged son.
Justin has little contact with the old gang. He sees Ted at work but there's no proof that they ever speak other than to nod in the hallway -- but Justin had little interaction with Ted in canon. I think he's avoided them as much as possible because they are Brian-connected.
