First things first: I'm one of the 21 happy, geeky people chosen this year for the Master's Degree program in East Asian Studies~. This means a crapload of work next academic year as I will be taking basic courses for this progam (of which there are many), finishing my studies for my Master's in English, doing a buttload of book exams and actually ( Read more... )

Ooh, thanks for the recs! ♥

I haven't seen all the movies yet (I really should go and watch the latest one!), but still... I'm not that afraid of spoilers. \o/ *goes to watch the vid*

Yay, no problem ♥

Seriously, the newest movie is the slashiest of them all. I really couldn't believe my eyes at first, it's that gay :'D And well, the car!porn is yummy in all four movies, so I recommend them all v. v. warmly. (It's also a hoot to notice how Brian's main tactic in any tussle is to wrap his loooong, pretty legs around his adversary's waist. I'm not kidding.)

Firstly, congrats on getting into the Asian studies! You're awesome. :) Is it a completely different degree (like, something you have to study 5 years for) or a continuation for your master's? *easily confused by uni degrees*

Oh man! I really need to go see the new F&F movie before they stop showing it here! I kinda forgot about it tho I've been waiting for it since forrreveerrrrr. D: So thanks for reminding me.

F&F is one of those movies I never thought I'd even watch, let alone like watching. But, uh, yeah, it's so randomly slashy and good and lots of crazy fast cars, so what's there not to love! I remember watching the first movie last fall and after the first Dom/Brian scene I couldn't believe no one had recced me this movie before. It's so gay, but in a good way of course! :D

Eeeks, thank you so much ;3; (And you're awesome!) It's a completely different degree that basically required a completed BA/other Bachelor's Degree before you could apply to it. After I'm done with both of these programs, I should become an FM ([Filosofian maisteri] English) and YTM ([Yhteiskuntatieteiden maisteri] Asian Studies) at the same time ^^

Unf, go watch the fourth movie! It's so worth it that I'm actually thinking about going again :'D And I get what you're saying about the whole movie, it's not something I'd go for either, but all the shiny cars and boys drew me in ♥ (So gay!)

ETA And durr, I forgot to answer your question about the duration of the program: it should take me two years like my MA in English ^^
