Please forgive me if I don't reply to comments on this one. I'm on the sick side of things. Discuss with each other!

Also, next week will be my customary post-season week off. The S5 polls will start the week after, 12/27, with Buffy vs. Dracula.

But now we're wrapping up S4! You all know what that means!

Season 4 is the funniest and Living Conditions is an example! Plus Buffy's look is amazing!
I'm the only one who liked Where the Wild Things Are?
I mean, I don't really liked the episode, but Beer Bad was worst. Adam was kinda lame as Big Bad, Spike is the hottest thing in the world. The whole Riley/Buffy relationship was so booooring!

Possibly. But even that has a few awesome moments, like the Spike/Anya bonding and Giles in the coffee shop.

Beer Bad was worst

This is the one I feel alone on liking. Yeah, it has a lot of problems, but
1. extremely accurate skewering of pretentious college freshmen boys and
2. cave slayer
both make me laugh so hard I don't care. Also, Beer! Foamy! Comforting!

So I apparently have a few unpopular opinions:

1. Probably my least favorite season even if it has episodes like Hush, SB and Pangs that I love to pieces. I have the feeling I don't like it 'cause of my major case of Riley hate.
2. I like Where the Wild Things Are very much!
3. I like Living Conditions too 'cause it's hilarious.
and I think that's it so ok, not so many.

Oh, and yesterday I watched the Oz's return and I realized that while I voted for W/T 'cause they're great in S4 I ship Willow/Oz way harder.

Oh, come on! Beer Bad?
It's the one Spikeless episode that I re-watch the most!
I like it more each and every time, I'm thinking of creating more usernames just to take the poll again and give it all my love...

Season 4 is the one where I love a lot of the individual episodes and themes and story arcs, and yet there's something about the Riley/Initiative storyline that I just don't find as -- I'm not sure. Entertaining? Fulfilling? Fun to watch? as the overarching story in other seasons.

I like that it seems to be thematically a contrast between masculine and feminine power styles, with feminine power coming out as the clear winner. And I like some of the ethical dilemmas on display, particularly with Oz and the Initiative in New Moon Rising. But I don't know, it just doesn't excite me quite as much as it seems like it should.

I love the distinction between "best episode" and "favorite episode". When I was answering the first question, it occurred to me that what I consider the "best" ep isn't the one I have watched the most, and I wasn't sure how to reconcile that. But the poll did it for me ( ... )
