3. Or brunettes. Taking C/A into consideration. :)

3. His taste is usually good women with blonde hair.

I would submit Drusilla, Gwen, Jhiera, and some might argue Lilah. In addition to Cordelia, of course. (And Darla may be blonde, but "good?")

Gwah, I shouldn't fill these polls out first thing in the morning, I'm way too indecisive.

Jonathan was trying to commit suicide because he had a dream that someday in the future he would join a nerd gang and would be involved in the murder of an innocent woman. He had a feeling that is was an omen of the future, and decided to end it before things got that bad.

You missed the emphasis of the bonus. Why was Jonathan trying to commit suicide with a sniper rifle? As far as weapons go, it's not the most efficient for the shooting of oneself. Especially for someone like Jonathan who has fairly short arms.

Like I said, shouldn't do this first thing in the morning...especially after being woken up every two hours by a hungry little tyrant.

Anyway, he was using a sniper rifle because it was the only gun his dad owned, therefore the only one he had easy access to.

Jonathan was using a sniper rifle because he's so small, he needed a telescopic sight to be able to see himself through it.
Obvs.

Whedonesque just quoted this episode on Twitter this morning.

1. I said "Both?", but the option I'd really have liked would've been "Neither".

2. Cordy's entertain me most.

5. OOC, but worth it.

7. Four. Excellent, but not quite outstanding.

BONUS: It was the only gun he had access to.

Ditto :)

(Except for the saying "both" part *g*)

4. Angel never let himself cop to having loved Darla, but I think he clearly did.

6. I wonder sometimes if she doesn't sense the actual breakup that's coming and put those insecurities on Faith.

This. It's like she already knows their relationship won't work--and so she's looking for an external explanation.

6. Interesting. I might have more thoughts on this, but I just woke up from a nap, so they're not quite formed. Will ponder.

The majority of my understanding of Angel's character is based on the premise that he's ridiculously un-self-aware and unreliable as a narrator. I think for the most part he tells Buffy things he thinks are true, but I'll take just about anyone's word over his. (This, among other things, gets me around certain worldbuilding difficulties.)

As for Xander and the jello, whether or not it was OOC for Xander, it was right in-character for the show, and therefore doesn't bother me. This show is all about making fun about the lif-or-death scenarios (except when it isn't).
