Writing Project Day 45 (or Month 2 Day14)

Today was a struggle. I thought I wanted to do some Dirty Dancing tribute to Patrick Swayze -- but it just wasn't happening. So you get this -- I think when I started, I thought Sirius and Irene would go to a noisy public dance hall to relieve the UST...but it didn't really work.

Poor Sirius! You and Irene are very mean to him :)

“I don’t know how, but I’m pretty sure you cheated in there.” She pointed towards the house.

He threw up his hands. “I was across the room and I didn’t touch you.”

“You did something,” she accused.

*chuckles* Love how Lily is so quick on the uptake, and 'manages' things (or tries to!) And a two mile walk instead of a cold shower - oh dear, you really are cruel :))

I don't think Irene realized this waiting business would be hard on her too. But she's determined to resisst (which is why she's not getting back on that motorcycle for a while).

Oh, poor Sirius. *evil grin* And now I want the story of why he "agreed to wait." Wait with what? And why? You may not be JKR, who kills off her characters, but you sure know how to torment them (and I mean that in a very positive way - there has to be some tension).

I wrote a part of where Irene makes him wait (an effort on her part to curb his recklessness during the war) on Sept 4 and I wrote the resolution (no dirty stuff) of the thread on Sept 7.

I'm not sure either of them realized how torturous waiting would be.

It's so easy -- anyway, he gets back at me by distracting me with ideas during Church meetings.
