Bob Dylan's album Together Through Life is Amazon's Daily Deal today - only 3.99! I was so excited that I almost bought it again before remembering that I already own it. So, browsing through Amazon's selection of $5 mp3 albums, I have found that Bryan Adams's 1987 album 'Cuts Like A Knife' is classified as "classic rock." My little sister had that album on cassette when it was new. Now it's classic rock and in mp3 format. That's just not right. :P

Because when you're wide awake at ridiculous hours, memes sound great. :p Anyway, I haven't done a lyrics meme in ages. I think I'm in the clear. So, rules!

This just makes me happy. Green Day pulled a girl from their audience at Madison Square Gardens and handed her a guitar, and she rocked it. From the comments on the Jezebel article where I first saw it, apparently they do this regularly, which is pretty awesome of them. I am ridiculously proud of this girl and I don't even know her. Thanks to the wonder and glory of Pepsi points, I just downloaded Paul Simon's Graceland album from Amazon for free. I've long since lost my cassette of this album and I never did have it in cd, so I am extremely pleased about this. I'm also pleased to realize that I still remember all the words to the songs even though it's been several years ( Read more... )
