Yup, yup - Kutcher was awesome I thought. I dunno if I saw the directors cut or the theatre cut - we do so many movies on ppv now. So much easier than renting or going to the theatre. I can pause it and go potty, get a snack, let the dogs out, whatever.
Just curious, how would you have developed more raport with the characters? Expound a bit....?
I think we're gonna have to rent those Bourne remakes - with Matt Damon right? There's Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy just came out, and isn't there a third one? brain-fart.
We saw The Bourne Identity with Matt Damon, the first one. The second one was reviewed in the paper today and considered a clinker, so we may not bother with that one when it comes out.
On the Butterfly - the redos starting happening before I got into the love aspect so each redo seemed like an OK option (well sort of). As usual I didn't appreciate the gratuitous "pet in peril" option, that's just a peeve of mine so when they put that in I tune out.
It got better and better as it went on but I really hated the directors cut ending - he aborts himself in the womb and then it shows everybody else having a happy life after the mother gets through loosing another kid (him) at the last minute, the next scene is her with another husband and baby...g
Wowsers! that's a completely different ending. I'm going to blockbuster today, and will try to get the directors cut. I HATE when an original vision is chopped up. Ever seen the directors cut of The Abyss? Rather than being a stupid alien movie - it's a grand environmental statement movie. It's also another 45 minutes long!
Right, so Bourne Identity good, Bourne Supremacy not so good. I may wait for them to show up on PPV.
I understand that he somehow manages to go all the way back and still be born but none of the other characters are still in his life. How did he do that? We already put the video back ...g

I didn't mind the director's ending of Butterfly Effect, DH hated it, he liked the theatrical version better.
