If you don't follow on Facebook, I'm "dieting." I don't really like that word, so I'll say I'm changing my lifestyle, indefinitely. It probably should be permanently ( Read more... )

wow, good for you! At first I was surprised by seeing "Gerber Graduates" but then as I read on, it all made sense. Good thinking!

I couldn't do canned crab meat either. :-/ But I think the key to it, like you said, is to not feel cheated or deprived... to do it your own way and modify it so that you feel like you're still eating. That's awesome!

I have thought of making a rule for myself with water too... I'm not a coffee drinker so I haven't exactly figured out what to do, but I am considerably worse this pregnancy than I was the last. And that's a problem since dehydration can lead to early labor... and I'm already at a slight risk of early labor due to being pregnant so close together. You think that would be enough of a wake up call for me, but apparently not...

I think you have GREAT willpower - I can't believe how many sacrifices you've made on the dairy front!

Is there anything you do a couple of times a day that you could associate drinking a bottle of water with?

Like maybe whenever you breast feed or pee, and water comes out, that signals you to put more in?

You know, it's funny... I have never considered myself a strong person when it comes to willpower. I've always said I have virtually none. Even JD says I have virtually none. I guess the dairy thing does sort of prove us both wrong, huh? I guess it's b/c it comes down to HER and not ME. Must make the difference!

Good ideas with the water. I'm going to need to definitely come up with something like that!
