I mean, it's so random. Not like, "Great cover dude!!", or just a retweet. It's I love your blue tank top.
Two theories: (a) That tank top has seen some shenanigans. or (b) Going way back, if they wanted to say 'I love you' in public but couldn't, then they would randomly proclaim love for some inanimate object or item of clothing that the other was in possession of.
