I know this isn't related to the story but I'm having trouble trying to put an LJ-cut in my story. I don't really know how to do it. I read it in the rules but it doesn't seem to work... I really want to post stories but I can't if I don't know how to use a LJ-cut. Can you please help me?

Hi! When I post I always use this basic layout that has the intro and then the story under an LJ-cut.

Just take out the asterisks to make the LJ-cut work. And if you're posting a link back to your journal, then you'd use

Same thing, just take out the asterisks.

This helped me a lot, I actually posted my first story on my journal just now! If you have time please read it.
