i'm really glad you wrote this - i'm struggling myself with something similar, and i've written unsent letters and emails not for my friend but mostly for myself, because i've talked to everyone and everyone's tired of hearing the same shit over and over again. but it's not out fault that we feel the way we do or that certain things occupy our minds more than others. "and know that the end of 'john and gabby' is more of a reality than anything else." that sentence hits really really hard.
