I can't even express to you how amazing that was. LIke, i usually would pick a favorite line and italicize it and the TELL YOU exactly how it was awesome and made me feel ~things, but there are just waaaaay too many lines in this for me to do that. It's written so beautifully. I love this style, the way a picture is painted not really with concrete facts but with feelings and hints of vague concepts, rock and tattoos and cigarettes.

You had me at your icon -- and then you got me to read it w/ Brody/Hayley 'cause, I never would've gone there in a million years in my brain no matter how awesome each one is. I'm glad you did though.

I really enjoyed this. It was gritty, dirty and sexy, just like Brody's voice. I loved how this was total rock and roll fic, not some watered down story that just happens to have the facsimile's of people and situations.

I liked that you got me on Brody's side from the very beginning 'cause I like the Distillers & Spinnerette equally and I was totes going 'stfu fans!'. Which is ironic 'cause I've totally been that fan who stopped listening to a certain band 'cause they got more 'artistic' KoRn, Metallica, I'm looking at you.. But, really, I think I'd follow Brody anywhere...I mean, it got me reading this fic right? ;) Plus, it's Hayley and its damned hard to not love Hayley -- especially when you have her being all blushy and adorable and fangurling over Brody

This is such a crack pairing IDEK what the feck possessed me to put them together. Don't trip man I totally had a phase where I was too upset with the Distillers breaking up to listen to Spinnerette but alas my love for Brody won out. Brody is awesome. Sigh.
