"Why do I keep running  from the truth? All I ever think about is you. Got me hypnotized, so memorized. And I just got to know. Do you ever think, when you're all alone, all that we could be? Am I crazy or just falling in love? Is it real or just another crush? Do you catch your breath when I look at you? Are you holding back, like the way you do. 'Cause I'm trying, trying to walk away. But I know this crush aint going away." -Crush by David Archuleta

The glee kids clapped enthusiastically as Rachel finished singing. The loudest of them all was Quinn. Those hazel eyes that had been enraptured as Rachel sang about lost love, now were shining with admiration.

"That was great Rachel!" Quinn beamed.

"Thanks Quinn," Rachel exclaimed happily. Quinn had became her number one fan these past few weeks ever since the two had become friends. No one was more suprised then she, but also, no one was happier then she.

Much to Quinn's disapointment, glee ended, and Rachel walked out of the room before Quinn could even get up. She watched the brunette go, loving the way the shiny dark hair swung as Rachel walked. Quinn herself had bought the cream rinse that Rachel now used, which caused her hair to be so shiny and healthy looking.

Later that day, when they were hanging out, Rachel caught Quinn staring at her again. Her cheeks heating up, Rachel looked backed down at her math book. For some reason, Quinn made her blush for no reason other then she happened to look at her.

"Here, let me show you how it's done." Quinn moved so she was right next to Rachel. The blonde took Rachel's pencil, explaining the problem.

Rachel tried not to faint. Quinn was so close, that it was messing with her concentration. Needless to say, Rachel was hearing nothing Quinn was saying.

"Like this?" Rachel asked softly as she struggled with the numbers.

Leaning in to double-check, Quinn made a pleased sound. "Yeah!"

"I got it!? Sweet!" Rachel turned to face Quinn, looking eager and thrilled. Rachel's breath got caught in her throat when she realized Quinn's face was closer then expected. Slowly, brown eyes rose to meet hazel.

"You catch on quick," Quinn said thickly.

Inch by inch, the two girls drew closer, as if drawn by fate, or a magnet.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Rachel whispered when their lips were half a centimeter apart.

"It's a chance we got to take. I believe this is something special. We can make it last forever."

"You got that from a David Archuleta song!" Rachel accused.

"So sue me!" Quinn grinned. She quickly closed the gap between them before Rachel could say another word.

4 minutes later they broke apart, breathing heavily. Rachel was now straddling Quinn's lap, her small non-manly hands tangled in Quinn's blonde hair.

"You keep moving like that Rachel, I may want to do more then kiss you!" Quinn moaned. "You're so lucky I'm not a guy!"

Rachel stopped moving her hips. "I'm... sorry?"

"Don't be. I just want to make sure we start this off right. There is more then sex, making-out, and cuddling to a proper relationship."

Eyes shining with love, tears, and hope, Rachel leaned back, speaking softly. "You... you want to have a proper relationship with me?"

"I do."

"You know I'm high maitnence right? Things aren't always easy with me. I want everything, and I usually want it right that instant..."

'I don't care. I love you and want to be with you. For real."

Quinn giggled as Rachel all but melted. She eagerly accepted Rachel's lips, forgetting her little speech about how they should do more then make-out.

"Chapter by chapter, I'm falling faster and faster. Becoming manic and magic it's so romantic I panic. Oh. Hit the eject button but it must be stuck, something's up. It's disgusting, how I love you. I can't take it, I should hate you. 'Cause you're messing up my name. Gotta walk my talk, my fame, but I just wanna touch your face. It's disgusting. It's disgusting how you changed me. From a bandit, to a baby. Thinking I might gotta changed my name if I'm gonna walk this walk in shame." -Disgusting by Miranda Cosgrove.

Quinn flushed as people stared at her. Walking Rachel to class was always hard. People whispered and laughed. The only thing that made it worthwhile, was seeing Rachel's happy face. In private, things were great. In public, not so much. Only Rachel was content with being seen by other people then her parents. then again, Rachel was already used to people mocking her. Quinn however was used to being popular and feared.

She wished she could hate Rachel, break up with her and gain her status back.

"Thanks Quinn," Rachel beamed, as Quinn handed her her books.

Automatically Quinn bent down and kissed Rachel goodbye. People snickered. Rachel's lips drowned out the rude sounds, making all of this better.

Walking to her own class, Quinn felt the familiar feelings of dread and regret. She hated how Rachel affected her. If it wasn't for that little siren singer, Quinn would still be on top of the world, still be the most feared girl in all of McKinley High history. But no, Rachel lured Quinn into a trap. Now Quinn was stuck. At the bottom.

She wouldn't trade it for the world.

I'll Wait For You

Quinn groaned as the lady said there were no flights going out, the snowstorm was too high. So she called her love on the telephone.

"I'll just rent a car, and drive on home."

"I'll wait for you. Like I did last year, with your family here. Your car broke down in San Antone. And the gifts stayed wrapped, till you got home. Oh this aint nothin' new. Quinn, I'll wait for you." Rachel said, and Quinn could almost hear the smile in her voice.

"I love you," Quinn sighed into the phone.

"I love you too."

Sitting in her hotel room, Quinn calls the one she loves, and always will. Her heart is breaking because Rachel is there alone. Rachel's heart is aching, 'cause she wants her home.

"I'll wait for you, like I did in '28, when our child was due. But I said he'd have to wait, until his mom gets here and stands by my side. Remember dear? Our son's first cry? Oh, this aint nothin' new. Quinn, I'll wait for you.

**

Pressing her foot down, Quinn's car sped up. She hadn't stopped all night, not even for sleep or a bite to eat. The love of her life was dying in the hospital and Quinn ws 50 miles away.

When she arrived, Rachel was gone.

"She's in a better place, she said to give this note to you, just in case." The doctor said, handing a piece of paper to Quinn.

Darling,

I'll wait for you at Heavenss gate. Oh, I don't care how long it takes. And I'll tell St. Peter I can't come in, without my love and my best friend. Oh, this aint nothin' new. Quinn, I'll wait for you.

Rachel.

P.S I love you too.

Quinn sat in her wheelchair, smiling at her grandchildren. They had come to visit her at the nursing home, eager to tell of their latest adventures. As the sun beat down on her back, Quinn yawned. Baby Lea cooed up at her grandma, then her hazel eyes turned to something behind Quinn.

Looking, Quinn smiled. "Is it time already? I guess I lost track of how fast time was going."

Her thirteen grandchildren looked at her curiously. Only the four youngest, baby Lea, two year olds Dianna and Heather, and three year old Naya smiled. They all saw Rachel, as only the very young and very old can.

"It's time. I don't have to wait any longer." Rachel held out her hand.

Accepting it, Quinn stood up easily. She was 17 again, full of energy. Glancing down, she saw her old body, still holding baby Lea. But Lea's eyes were on her grandma, and the grandmother she had never met. Lea gurgled happily as she watched the two young girls embrace.

Dianna, Heather, and Naya waved goodbye as Rachel led Quinn away.

Beth, Quinn and Rachel's oldest daughter, looked at her nieces confused. "Sweethearts, who are you waving to?" she asked.

"Grandma Quinn and Grandma Rachel," they replied.

Beth looked up sharply. She tried to see where their eyes were trained, but all she saw was bright sunlight.

"Mom, what are they talking about?" Cory asked, looking at his cousins with disdain. Little kids. Always making things up.

Beth shook Quinn's shoulder. Feeling her wrist, Beth's eyes filled with tears. She scooped up her Lea, shakily standing. Beth tried again to see what Naya was still staring at.

All her life she had heard abot how her mom had kept her mama waiting. She had seen the note Rachel had written. Now it seemed Rachel was done waiting. If what Naya, Heather, and Dianna said was true... "I love you mama. Take care of mom for me." Beth whispered, tears trickling down her face.

Rachel and Quinn smiled down at their daughter, watching as Beth gathered her nieces and nephews up, alerting the caretakers that Quinn had passed away.

"I love you," Quinn said at the same time as Rachel. Laughing, the two girls alowed themselves to be taken into heaven. Together forever, with no more waiting, at last.

"Quinn! Where the hell are you going?!" Santana demanded as the blonde began walking away from her.

"Bathroom mommy," Quinn said exasperatedly.

"That's the fourth time you've gone!" Santana scowled.

"Aw, nice to know you're keeping tabs on me. So sue me, I have a small bladder." Quinn shot over her shoulder.

"I'm coming with you. We are not done talking." Santana pushed away from the locker she was leaning on, trailing after the blonde head cheerleader. This was the millionth time Quinn had tried to avoid talking to Santana. Quinn was acting weird. She was jumpy, always leaving, and her excuses... they were getting flimsier each time. When Santana asked her about it, Quinn changed the subject, or said Santana was making a big deal over nothing. But something was up. Quinn was hiding something, and the Latina intended to find out what.

"I don't need you to hold my hand while I pee!" Quinn said loudly as she pushed her way into the bathroom.

People snickered, and Santana scowled. "Could you say it any louder Q?" she demanded.

"I DON'T NEED YOU TO HOLD MY HAND WHILE I PEE!" Quinn shouted, laughing at Santana's hiss of outrage.

Both girls entered the bathroom.

Rachel Berry shoved past them looking annoyed, escaping before Santana or Quinn could say a word to her.

"What's her deal?" Santana stared after the little midget. "Normally she says hi or some other thing. What's got her panties in a bunch?"

"Who knows? Who cares?" Quinn rolled her eyes. She went into a stall. "You really didn't have to follow me in here. I'm potty-trained you know! I know how to use a toilet! By myself too!"

That's another thing. Quinn was way too happy... and too light-hearted. Gone was the cold bitch Santana knew and loved. In her place, was a girl who actually smiled, and cracked jokes.

"Imagine that," Santana said sarcastiacally. "Where is Quinn Fabray and what have you done with her?"

"You know, that's the fifth time you've asked me that today." Quinn sighed theatrically. "Am I not allowed to be in a good mood?"

"You are. If only you would explain why you are so damn happy. It's creeping me out."

Quinn flushed the toilet. Coming out, she gave Santana a look. "Just because you only have one mood, does not mean the rest of us are cursed like you. Most people have more then one expression too!" Quinn giggled.

Santana rolled her eyes for the millionth time that day it seemed. "Spill Q. What drugs are you on?"

The blonde walked over to the sinks, washing her hands before she answered the Latina. "If I told you... I'd have to kill you," she whispered with a huge grin.

"Ugh! You are so annoying." Santana stalked out of the bathroom, unable to be around the happy girl anymore. She needed to go knock down a dweeb, or go make-out with Puck or Brittany or something. Anything to know that the rest of the world was still sane. Stopping at her locker, Santana noticed Quinn dart out of the bathroom and into a closet. 'What the hell?'

Marching over to the janitor's closet, Santana flung the door open.

"What the fuck!?" Santana screeched.

"Mmmph," Quinn grunted. Her lips were attached to Rachel's, both girls rubbing up against each other. Quinn had fistfuls of dark brown hair clutched in her hands, using them to pull Rachel closer. "Shut the damn door!" Quinn moaned as Rachel's lips moved to her neck. Neither girl seemed all the concerned at being caught.

"I think I need to go puke," Santana gagged. Although, she had to admit. It was pretty hot seeing Rachel go down on Quinn.

"Santana, either get in here and join in," Rachel snapped, pausing her ministrations on Quinn's thigh. "Or shut the fucking door!"

Slamming the door shut, Santana realized she was panting. No. Ew. Berry was not turning her on! Where's Brittany...?

Who Cares?

Quinn's head snapped up. Did she really just hear Rachel tell everyone her and Finn were back together?? Quinn felt her heart sink. Judging by the way Rachel was holding Finn's hand smiling brightly up at him, they were. Avoiding Puck's concerned gaze, Quinn shifted in her seat, acting like she wasn't bothered in the slightest. Who cares that Quinn and Rachel had been an item last week. A top-secret item, but an item nonetheless. Who cares that Quinn had broken things off with Rachel because Rachel wanted to go public. Who cares that Quinn wanted nothing more then to scream at Finn and take Rachel into her arms and run away with her. Who cares that Finn was with the girl Quinn loved more then life itself? Yeah, who cares?
