here's my guess:

π - pi

because?
1. of its rhythmic nature (as stated in the first line)
2. the long strings of words without punctuation, giving it a endless or rather eternal feel
3. the entire stanza emits mysticism, which pi till today can never be defined as compared to its logic and definitive counterparts.

LOL! i feel like giving lame explanations to my answer.

interesting.

as for the josephine's question... waa.. damn mind-boggling lah. not for the mind of a marketing student. but looking at it, it sure feels like John Nash's Prisoner's Game Theory.

the husband-th position.

so cute .. pi

Cos there is a full stop after the "Sir". and an "I" immediately after (which on typewriters is notated by the numerical "1".)

as for josephine .. thank goodness I am a husband and thank goodness I am faitful .. LOLLLLLLLLLLLL. My solution, shoot queen josephine. Ppl like her are usually dried up resentful ppl who cannot be happy for others and thrive on making life miserable for everyone coz they imagine themselves to be wise. *hmph*

poems:

1. mushroom rings found on the grass on a damp foggy morning? sword's kiss would be either the sun or the harvesting knife ? hmmmm

2. dunno

3. maybe darkness, but darkness certainly does NOT kill laughter coz it oftentimes engenders many many giggles .. *sniggertzzzz * ..

the original puzzle used a comma instead of a full-stop..

Josephine's problem: oh pls... don't we all gossip about other ppl's "husbands" in our conversations?

poems:

1. no.. not mushroom rings.. ><

2. hint: you see it quite often...

3. many many giggles?!? pls don't let me be in the same area or let me be in a lit room while you and someone else is in the darkness.. anyway, you got this correct.. =)
