Didn't want to be hunted down by ravening h/c addicts! Plus it gave my own addiction a little tweak.

I actually did write a new ending (on your advice), took them up to the 'gate, but it really didn't add anything to the storyline and just felt like extra verbiage. I liked the A/N better, liked the quirkiness.

So, you survived the roller-coasters? Or are you still being held hostage?

Delightful bit of whump to read before bed! Poor John, he would have saved himself so much angsting if he'd only talked to them. He really does suck at the communication part of his relationships, doesn't he? *grins* (Wouldn't have him any other way, of course!)

No one does angsty self-whump better than Sheppard. It's one of his more endearing qualities. ;-)

There is only one injury that makes me queasy and kinda faint, and you did it to Sheppard! Kneecaps... bring bad memories of dislocation and pain... *wibble*

I feel ya... Anything with dislocated joints makes me cringe. ::sigh:: I only hurt the ones I love. ;-)
