A/N-This is the product of a Caddie twitter request. This is the first time I have ever written Caddie so I hope it turns out all right.

Addison fastens her seat belt as the plane prepares to descend. She didn’t think that she would have been back so soon after what happened with Archer. However when she was woken up early morning a few nights ago by a phone call from a devastated Callie, she decided it was time to go back.
Stepping into the Seattle air Addison breathes deep. Somehow even though she didn’t spend much time here it still feels like home.
“Addison.”
The redhead turns towards the familiar voice with a smile on her face. It fades a little when she sees Callie. She is not taking the break up with Arizona well.
“Oh Cal I told you that you didn’t have to pick me up.”
Addison throws her arm around the sad eyed woman hugging her tightly to her side.
“ I know but I thought the sooner I saw you the better. I needed something familiar because nothing in my life is right now.”
Pulling away Addison keeps one of her arms around Callie. Grabbing her bag she walks forward moving Callie with her.
“Come on where do you want to go?”
“Joe’s” Callie looks up with sad hope in her eyes.
“Joe’s it is.”
As soon as they enter the bar both women make a beeline straight towards Joe.
“Back so soon Dr. Montgomery.”
“What can I say Joe can’t stay away form a good thing.”
Callie moves into the stool next to Addison and lays her head on the countertop.
“Tequila please Joe.”
Joe looks at Callie with sympathy on his face.
“Same for you Dr. Montgomery?”
“Yea and Joe you an call me Addison you know.”
He smiles at her before turning to go towards the never ending supply of alcohol.
As soon as the tequila arrives Callie picks up her head and takes three shots and lays her head back on the counter. Pouring some of the liquid into to her glass Addison turns her stool towards the dark haired woman.
“Okay Callie you have to tell me what happened. “
“I told you Addie she broke up with me.”
“We both know there is more to the story .”
Callie sighs and reaches over taking Addison’s shot and drinking it.
“I honestly thought we were doing good. I keep thinking about it over and over in my head and I don’t know what I did wrong.”
“Cal you can’t blame this on yourself.”
“Yes I can because I am the common denominator. “ Callie lifts her head and looks at Addison with tears in her eyes. “George, Erica and now Arizona I am the one that all three of them walked away from so it has to be me.”
Addison looks back at her usually smiling happy friend unsure of what to say that would convince her this isn’t her fault. That sometimes shit just happens. Addison reaches out and runs her hand through Callie’s hair.
“I don’t know if this counts right now but I plan on sticking around for awhile.”
Callie smiles through her tears.
“It’s a start.”
It takes some persuasion to finally get Callie to leave the bar. Addison is beyond grateful that she knows where Callie lives form her last visit because Callie certainly wouldn’t be able to tell her. Her arms around her waist and one of Callie’s arms are thrown over Addison’s shoulder. To her surprise they are actually making good progress across the street despite Callie’s drunken state. Callie smiles drunkenly at Addison when suddenly a look of wonder takes over her face. Reaching out she runs her fingers through soft red hair.
“Addie,” The wonder in Callie’s voice matches the expression on her face.
“You hair is red.”
Addison looks at Callie confused and slightly amused. Not sure what to say to something so obvious she nods her head.
“Yea Cal I’ve noticed.” She replies with a smirk.
They are across the street when Addison sees a dark haired woman coming towards them. It takes her a second to realize its Cristina.
“Joe called me.” She explains as she grabs Callie’s free arm which has dropped from Addison’s hair and throws it over her shoulder. It’s easier getting Callie up the stairs with Cristina and before long they manage to get Callie in bed and tucked in. Both women leave a snoring Callie to sleep the alcohol off.
They move into the living room and sit on opposite ends of the couch.
“This is the worst of it right?” Addison looks at Cristina with worry on her face.
Cristina shakes her head looking at Callie’s door.
“When they first broke up she walked around in a daze and refused to speak to anybody.’ Cristina turns her gaze to Addison. “At least she is talking now.”

Chapter-2/?
Paring-Caddie
Summary-After Addison gets a call from a heart broken Callie. Addison decides to make an extended trip to Seattle and help her friend pick up the pieces.
A pillow sails through the air towards the open window which is streaming sunlight into the room. The pillow falls uselessly to the floor falling at Callie’s attempt to block out the sun. The sun still pouring in Callie slowly sits up swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. Callie stumbles into the living room still trying to adjust to the light when a flash of red catches her eye. Addison is laid across the couch one arm over the edge. Callie makes her way to the couch and moves Addison’s legs on top of her lap as she sits. The movement awakens Addison.
The first thing Addison sees when she opens her eyes is Callie smiling weakly at her. She smiles back as the rest of her body wakes up.
“Morning sunshine”
“Morning yourself.” Callie replies her smile getting a little wider. Addison adjusts her legs on Callie’s lap.
“Callie?”
She goes from looking at her lap and slowly brings her gaze back up to Addison.
“Are you alright?”
Callie shakes her head.
“No but I will be.” Callie looks her dead in the eyes and whispers again “I will be.”
Callie’s smile returns again. “So breakfast?”
Addison shakes her head smiling.
“Sure what do you want?’
“I Hop pancakes.”
“Your wish is my command.” Addison replies with a grand hand gesture making Callie giggle. To Addison it’s like music to her ears.
Two and a half weeks that’s how long it’s been since Addison got the call from Callie. Two weeks since she actually arrived in Seattle to help her friend. In those two weeks Addison adjusted easily and happily into her life in Seattle once again. The Chief overjoyed to have a top surgeon at his hospital again gave Addison a job immediately. Callie was starting to become herself again. Her smile was back as well as her laugh. Addison found that every time she saw Callie laugh or smile it made her heart feel lighter. Addison moved to the Acherfield after her initial night in Seattle. Ever since Callie has been there every night. Making Addison’s long nights much more bearable.
“Addison?”
She is brought out of her thoughts about the last time Callie was over by Mark Sloan.
“Mark” She nods her head in a way of greeting.
“You seemed to be in some deep thought there.”
“Just thinking of this and that.” Addison replied with a shrug.
“Really because you seemed to glaze over when Callie passed a few minutes ago.”
Addison looks up quickly trying to cover the look of shock on her face but it’s to late to hide it from Mark.
“Addison be careful we both know what she has been through you most of all.” Mark has an annoying smug smirk on his face as he walks away.
“You don’t know what you are talking about.” Addison calls after his retreating form. She returns to her charts shaking her head, He hash no clue what he is talking about she reassures herself.
Callie sits on the hotel bed bouncing slightly as she does.
“So which one do you want to watch?” Callie shuffles through the pile of DVDS and takes a sip of her beer. Addison walks towards Callie and smiles beer also in hand.
“I’ll let you chose. It doesn’t matter to me.”
The words are barley out of her mouth before Callie has a movie out of the pile and into the DVD player. It occurs to Addison that she is still smiling as Callie makes her way back towards her. Shaking her head a little she takes another drink of her beer. She pushes her current thoughts out of her mind as Callie sits next to her laughing at something on the screen. Addison reassures herself that she just wants to see Callie happy and protect her.
Addison wakes up to the smell of coffee. She looks around her hotel room and is greeted with Callie holding out a cup of coffee. Addison takes it gratefully taking a sip.
“I didn’t even realize I fell asleep on you.”
“It’s okay” Callie shrugs. “I just fell asleep to. Well time to get to work.” Callie says drinking the rest of her coffee. She places the mug by the coffee machine and grabs her jacket, putting it on she looks at Addison.
“So what do you want to do when I get out of work?” Callie looks at Addison who is watching her.
“Um unless you don’t want to do anything. I know you must be getting sick of seeing me so much.”
When Addison looks up she sees Callie looking at the floor.
“What no Callie that’s not it I’m sorry I was just thinking.” Addison prays that Callie doesn’t question her. Callie gives her a confused look but doesn’t question.
“So then you want to go out tonight?” Callie’s voice sounds uncertain and the last thing Addison wants to do is make Callie insecure.
‘Yup anywhere you want to go I’ll go.” Addison smiles encouraging Callie.
“Okay when I get out of work I am going to go to my place and pick up some things and then I will be back.”
“Okay I’ll see you then.” She gets up as Callie makes her way to the door.
Addison watches as Callie walks down the hallway and only closes the door when she sees Callie turn the corner. Taking another sip of her coffee with a smile on her face. Blissfully unaware of what’s to come next.
