The weird thing? I woke up feeling sort of awesome, and I think its because I decided to call the douche on his shit. Not just swallow it and angst over the things I should have said. If I ever see him again I don't know if I should even care, but I know I feel better about having stood up.

Yes and no. On the one hand I regret having been put in the situation at all, but that had little to do with me directly, as much as what this guy felt drunkenly entitled to say. I know I would have felt far worse about this if I hadn't, so I'm cool with it for the most part. Anger is one of those emotions I'm not very in touch with, and I think this is a indicator I need to tap into it more. Informative experience, even if it is one I'd rather have avoided. (If that makes any sense)

this is infuriating and I'm sorry you had to deal with it. it's hard to brush things like that off and I'm glad you said something because FUCK THAT GUY. I just hope you know that his assholery is not a reflection of you because you are totally awesome and this guy is a bigoted prick.
