As they walked back for a cuppa at the tea break on the Sunday in the Chennai Test against England, India’s vice-captain Sehwag ran up to Zaheer Khan, ruffled his hair in an acknowledgement of the left-arm paceman’s work in the quarter hour to the interval when he first trapped Paul Collingwood lbw and then castled Graeme Swann and Steve Harmison.

That is a nice story about Viru. I haven't followed this match at all. How is the team playing? 256 is a doable target, undoubtedly, but...how are they are playing?

India are 131 for 1 chasing 387. Viru made a 67 ball 83, got out to a dubious lbw. Need 256 tomorrow with nine wickets in hand.

Thanks Amit. :) But I wasn't asking about the stats. Those I have read. Raj has been watching the match and can tell me about the other bits - the cohesion, the form of both the teams, stuff like that.

The track will assist the spinners but Gautam Gambhir has batted well and is one of the better players of spin and Rahul Dravid is due to play a good knock. India can pull it off, yes
